Hope you all are gonna feel especially sorry for me here. We had our 5 day tickets booked and the caravan almost loaded and then I got knocked sideways by a vicious 'flu virus. I'm only just about on my feet again for more than 5 minutes at a time.Consequently I haven't been to Pickering. :(

On behalf of The MidNight Pilgrims, I'd just like to say a big thanks to Roger and co. for inviting us to play at this year's festival. We're a relatively recent addition to the music scene here and we had great fun on Monday afternoon. Special thanks also to all the sound crew / MT Allen...they are the best crew ever and it really helps us on stage to have a great support team.

Also, special thanks to all those who braved the weather and stayed to hear us play. Rock on (in a country kind of way)! : )

This post removed from the saloon to here because it's a more appropriate place to record my comments on Pickering, which was right enjoyable.

I was real pleased to meet my friends again. Mary, Chuck, Lynne and TJ, Irene, Nickyjo, Carole and the SC boys. And to meet Aiden and Lone Wolf for the first time.

The weather ? Meh, it was cold outside, so what ?

No less than three people told me they thought I lived in Ilkley because of my profile location. Now amended. I don't really live on Ilkley Moor with the ducks and the worms. I put that for a joke, because it's a good old Yorkshire song. And I'm not really Waylon Jennings either, despite having one of his old hits as my login.

Didn't Nickyjo look gorgeous in that black shawl and mantilla outfit on the arm of Kas for the trilogy.

Unfortunately I missed Palomino's set. Sorry lads, I will see you around sometime.

Yorkie, we did spare you a thought. It went like this; "Have you seen Yorkie yet ?". "No, have you ?". "no". "He'll maybe be here tomorrow then".

I might see some of you at Americana. If not, see you at Pickering next year.
Country is a state of mind, not a state of America.

Good to meet up with you again Lonesome.
Sorry if I appeared a little merry when I introduced you to Lonewolf.
(you should have seen me later, no on second thoughts you shouldn't have)

You not going to Skipton? or anywhere other than Americana?
