Once again some nasty people have started a rumour about Skipton Festival saying that Mike Sagar will not be compere this year.

WRONG

MIKE SAGAR WILL BE AT SKIPTON FESTIVAL AS USUAL

If anyone heres any more rumours about either Skipton or Pickering Festivals please don't take it as read contact Roger or myself and we will tell you if the rumour is true or false.

These people wan't blasting of the face of the earth they are a damnd neusance no good to Country Music or anything else.

Hi Lynne - Yep I've given up the idea of the trailer tent - I spent some time drifting around a few places and looked at some but decided I needed a bit more comfort and not too much lugging around with them on site. I've got to the 'creaky' age now Lynne. - I must admit there are plenty of bargains about but the old bones don't always agree with what I want to do LOL ... I suppose a small caravan would be better but then again I'd have trouble parking it at home - anyway I'll get on the trail of finding some digs now. Cheers All.

Marshall we stayed in a hotel there for last years festival and it was brilliant, lovely rooms etc it was called the 'chinthurst' they have a website at http://www.chinthurst.co.uk/index.cfm

Im off again this year but just for Friday and Saturday night so far but im gonna risk it in the tent this time!

Hi Little GPX - thanks for the info - I've added it to my list of places to look at - I'm going to have a trip to Skipton later on and suss some places out. I think I'd risk a tent for a couple of days but Sylvia is not too keen - (I'm working on it though)

am thinking of going for just the sunday.. do you know it that is possible... will stay in a b & b the sat and sun... as it will be my first country festival thought I would break myself in gently :wink:
