Word or phrase associated with a singer/ muso

Post by Moshe » Fri May 17, 2013 9:01 am

We've had a bit of a break from games. Now, how about easing back into games with a brand new game.
In this game we will start with a word or a phrase and guesse which singer/muso/personality is being hinted at.
The subject may not even necesarilly be a country act/personality. If no one gets the answer, clues may be given.

Starting off with an easy one

Knickers!!!!

Knowing you, I'm guessing Frankie Howard?

Oh, I see. I thought you meant a word or phrase a person was known for using.

No, anything associated with them.
I still havn't got a clue about kev's one. I only thought Kinky because I was thinking of his song where he sings; "you make fun of my cowboy shoes/ you say they look just like big canoes", but i'm sure that is wrong

Might take a bit of getting into this one Moshe.

as a bit of fun my favourite, with answers are probably....Which country star spoke to me and what did they say.....answer....Most of them when they said .....shift.

Probably the most famous comment is. "It was in tune when I bought it"

Maybe my 'lost canoe' one was too tough - it was Bruce Springsteen, who famously fined his road crew in the 1980s for losing his favourite canoe.

Some else better have a go!

Blimey! I'd never even heard about that one,. Would be great in a pub quiz: "Which rock star fined his crew for losing his canoe?"
Sounds like The Boss is not an ideal Boss!!!

Probably the man who also recorded, If You're Going To drive Me Crazy, Baby, Drive Me To Drink. Ol' Possum himself.
